Death of snackable? Digital content increases consumption

The Association of Magazine Media has just surveyed more than 1,000 mobile magazine readers and found that they consume as much or more
magazine content as before making the switch.

Main points in brief:

  • 90% said that since acquiring their mobile device, they are consuming just as much – if not more – magazine content
  • 89% prefer titles to have the same functions and navigation
  • 83% are interested in saving articles or issues to read later
  • 82% would like pre-loaded gift cards to be available
  • 79% want to search for specific titles to download
  • 55% want to be able to read digital back issues of titles
